Is it possible? Spydanitza?

beera,

You have started 3 threads regarding this one topic. Why? I think you need to get off this Spyderco/CRK collaboration kick. It will simply never happen and the sooner you get that through your head the less we will have to read multiple threads on the subject. CRK is CRK. Spyderco is Spyderco. They are like oil and water. They simply don't mix.

yup, I thought it was about time I dropped it.

I see allot of high level politics surrounding this topic.
I hate politics. Just wanted a zdp knife with a frame lock and full flat and ti.

Consider it dropped from my side.:)

you can all continue discussing it though :p

High level politics? I don't see any politics:confused: Just a bunch of knife guys debating the validity of a collaboration.

If you really want a ZDP Ti Framelock, you should start shopping around for custom makers who work with the materials.

This is the only thing I wouldn't like to hear.
look for customs. meaning, you are the odd ball.

I am not.
I had a point that I tried to make.

I tried my best.
End of story.

Unfortunately going the custom route is your best bet. We know it's not what you want to hear but that's the hard fact. While it is good to discuss things and hope for what we want there comes a point where it is time to throw in the towel. I do not see CRK and Spyderco working together. CRK tried to work with a big name manufacturer (CRK&T) and said manufacturer did not live up to CRK's expectations.

You have two smart entrepreneurial businessmen here.

Glesser and Reeve.

They obviously know of each other. If they want to do business together, they will.

If they don't want to, they won't.

a Sebenza with a spyderhole would be the ultimate folder, I sold my sebbie because of that thumbstud.

I really don't care to see a collaboration between Reeve and Spyderco. I mean, if people want to drop 400 dollars on a production knife, I don't understand it, but that's their choice. But I don't associate that sort of expenditure with a Spyderco. I want a good deal from Spyderco, and I'm used to getting them. Furthermore, I find nothing special about the design of the sebenza. I don't dislike it, but I just don't "get it." I'd rather have a Sal or Eric designed knife...in fact, I'd much rather have a SG/EG knife.

It's been stated here before that Mr. Reeve is not interested in a collaboration w/ Spyderco. Ain't happening. We all have our ideas as to what the ideal Spyderco would be- and it speaks to the quality & outstanding reputation that Spyderco enjoys that these knives should come out of the Golden Colorado plant. But the Spyderco factory isn't made out of Legos- you can't just snap production processes together.
It's nice to dream, but let Mr. Glesser do what he does best.

And Mr. Reeve as well.

Hi Beera,

No prob with the question. that's what forums are form.

Also, it is easy to understand a desire, but that desire must be desired by enough customers to make production practical as well.

I answered the other thread, no sense trying to maintain the discussion on two threads.
