Recommendation? Is it possible to cure a slight bent of bone scale? [Results!]

Alex.Y. Alex.Y. Many thanks, so as not to take the thread off track I suggest you take a look here. Filework or guillochage is an area of French expertise. I'm really pleased with the new knife 😻

Also have a look in here it's very rewarding

Thanks, Will

Why? What are the disadvantages of a a hard wheel one?

Yeah, I was thinking about something with VFD, to be able to make things slow and more controllable.

First here's a few pics of the knives in this batch:

They are awaiting there final cleaning and polishing and having the lanyard thong attached. This Paisano model is going to a friend here on BF. I'd just finished putting on its thong with a blood knot:

This Vaquero has some nice ironwood. This one heading to a rancher in Texas.

This Coyote model has elk antler for a handle with a turquoise spacer and bead on the thong. This one is going to a cowgirl also in TX I believe. Its sheath will be stitched in turquoise colored thread too.

As far as grinders. A belt is far more versatile. I don't know where you are but for knifemaking, a 2x72' size with a VFD is the gold standard. It will allow you to do every step in the knife making process simply by changing belts or speed or both. I don't know of anyone that uses a hard wheel grinder.
