Just brought a buck 110 Matco tool special on ebay ,has Oak scales nickel silver engraved bolsters with 24 k gold inlays , beutiful knife ,my question is it wrong to use this knife as a daily carry ,by the way only cost $31.00

Side,

I say use it. It sounds to me like you want to use it-why not. Great price but even if you paid more, knives are made to be used IMHO. A safe queen is only a safe queen if you want it to be.

I was planning on useing it was just wondering if it is wrong . will be my carry knife tomorow

Here's the other version (2nd one up from the bottom) with the inlay in the handle of the car. It came with the box with glass in the top.

I wouldn't carry mine, but then I have so many others there's no need to.

nice find sidecarr [imo] that's a social carry like when you are going out to dinner or for a boys night out when you know you are not going to have to use it for anything heavy[not that it could not handle it after all it is a buck] but to me that's the kind of knife you show off when your out with the guy's :D

agreed:thumbup:

Ditto Randy's comments. Its a "show the boy's" knife and for lite cutting.
Go to Walmart and get one for under $30 for digging up the flowerbed and Scout activities. Good catch.

I have a whole gun safe full of bucks ,spidies and sak, im not a real fancy guy ,I dont wash my cars the neighbors complain about my yard ,but the two things I like to keep nice are my knifes and my motorcycles ,I have the walmart buck, the signiture series, the 100 annaversary ,the hunter and ranger 25th annaversary and several others ,but really like this knife , I used to carry a model 500 with a gold eagle on the blade so im not against carrieng a nice knife ,just ordered a 111 with nickel silver bolsters so may only carry this one for a couple of days till I get the 111 ,hopefuly the 111 feels the same way the 110 does

You are going to love that one for sure. The 111 is really my favorite.

side sounds like you are hooked on buck !
use or not to use ...show off in hand or in case...
that is a verrrrry personal question and decision!
i would not even begin to guess or advise.. ..

been colecting knifes on and off since I graduated high school , buck is definetly one of my favorite. i'll never sell any of them so if I carry it or not doesnt matter. how much diferent is the 110 vs 111

nickel silver bolsters instead of brass

Yes, I do like that 111 frame.I have the 111 club knife w/Elk antler slabs (2007)and I'm glad I got it.DM

imafritz the winning bid for the knife on ebay was $22.00 $30 with shipping couldnt believe it went for so cheap ,had my auto bid set to $65 . why did buck quit making the 111 , I prefer the nickel silver bolsters I think they look better and are tougher ,then the brass
