Is Knifehog.com Legit?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this site I am looking at buying a sage 1 as they have a good price on the knife.
Any feedback on them would be appreciated.

Welcome to Bladeforums.
I've never done business with them, so I cannot speak from personal experience. They do have some buyer protection software in place that makes for safe(r) transactions. That is a step in the right direction.

I'd been eyeying one of their knives. All of a sudden when I budget the money to order it, the price has gone up like $35 ! I called them and said, "Hey, I'd been eying this for about a month. Can you honor the lower price?" Nothing doing. :o

Sounds like another dealer is about to get your money. ;)
 
I recently (5/4/14) tried to purchase a tomahawk from them. They took the order and billed my account but were very slow getting my item shipped. I contacted them to ask why they had not shipped and they wrote back and said that they had "oversold" the item that I wanted. They said that they would refund my money.....I'm still waiting for that to happen.
 
It appears that the "oversold" item is again now available on their website for an additional $100.00, still waiting on my refund.....
 
It looks like I will have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charges, looks like KnifeHog might be a good place to avoid.
 
I've waited 15 days and still no refund. I turned the matter over to my credit card company today. I would suggest avoiding KnifeHog.
