Is my AO knife considered to be a switchblade?!

Where in the Mass General Law is there a length restriction?

Wsfuller95 - you are referring to the Boston Municipal Code, not the Massachusetts General Laws. Trust me, I defend these kind of cases in court.

Following up on the recent U.S. Supreme Court Case overturning Chicago's gun ban, do you foresee anything remotely similar regarding knives? Aren't knives too protected by the 2nd Amendment? And what about swords, and so on?

In my opinion, yes they should be. The issue is going to be "what amounts to a reasonable restriction." Also, I can see some states making room under concealed weapon laws for some of the usual offenders, double edge, automatic, etc. I think for the most part length restrictions won't hold up. The Caveat is, we have miles to go before we can call this settled. I foresee that I will be fighting this issue on the front lines relatively soon.
