Is my paramilitary 2 a fake?

This is more likely to happen on Amazon, than with a dealer that primarily sells and deals in cutlery. Bad news travels very fast in this community, if this were a common practice businesses could be shut down within days. Most companies though have authorized channels which they have used to secure their products, and it is guaranteed to be authentic. I don't doubt some scumbag is capable of doing what you suggest, but it would likely not happen on a large scale through dedicated vendors. Unless of course someone teleports into the factory late at night and swaps the real shipment for a clone version.

I'm not saying something like this would be common practice, lol. I am just saying one could fall through the cracks, and although buying through a rep dealer is obviously the BEST way to go, to say it is 100% foolproof - just is not true.

Earth (could ) be destroyed by a meteor.;):)

That's true? Better chance my scenario happens then a big rock from space falling on your house though

Let's talk about the odds. Given that spyderco fakes must occur during the timeframe on earth where spydercos are relevant, those odds would have a finite numerator. Earth being destroyed has all of time or what I would state as an infinite numerator. Therefore no matter how unlikely it is to happen today(denominator) given more time it becomes more likely to happen. Even probable. And it has a LOT of time. So really to win the probability battle you must now show how long it would take for it to become probable that a meteor destroy earth and show it is more probable that earth is first destroyed some other way to show there isn't in fact an infinite numerator. Now let's see who's the first knife to make a knife sharp enough to cut through spacetime!

I have a pm2 on the way and only recently found out about the fake "epidimic" if you will(this is my first spyderco and previously I hadn't paid them any attention) So of course this has gotten me all paranoid, however I did find out that the company is registered here. Now my only concern is that the company is only a couple years old, and doesn't seem to have much of a reputation. Should I have anything to worry about if the company is registered with b/f?

Ok I did my best to blow up you pics to the exact same size as my Para 2 and I noticed one small difference. The "o" on your knife on the end of Colorado is closer to the choil than it is on mine. My "o" is even with the blade edge. The font seems to be the same size so it is just the position on the blade that is different. Can't get a good picture now so I hope I explained it well enough. Other than that it is the same as mine.

So, one of us has a fake!

Yours seems to have exactly the same angle on the text as mine, and I bought from a recommended BF dealer. The initials are Knifeworks. ;)
Here's a close up of that text for comparison. I hope it helps.
