  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Is my PM2 the real deal?

Just curious, do a lot of other manufacturers deal with this?
Seems like there's sooooooooo much worry and anxiety on the web these days about fake Spydercos.
I see topics about it every single day. Just curious, are there other companies whose knives are cloned as much, and whose customer base has so much paranoia about getting ripped off?
Not saying it's Spyderco's fault, just curious. Cuz it certainly seems like they are the #1 most knocked off knife company.

So how do you like it?!

I like it a lot. It hasn't yet replaced my mini griptilian as my edc knife as it's a bit large and "tactical" looking for my office with a strict "no weapons" policy. I do however tend to carry it on the weekends in conjunction with my g26.

It's finally loosened to the point where I can flick it out easily with my thumb or middle finger. I've also since bought an Esee or 2 that I've been using a bit more than the PM2. All in all, it's a great knife but also a little large for my weekday needs. I don't foresee getting rid of it any time soon..,
