Is once a week (after expected date) too often to ask if my knives have shipped?

I placed an order for a bunch of Fehrmans about 5 and a half weeks ago. I last contacted them early last week; I was told it would be done by the end of the week, but I still haven't received any shipping notice or any information since then. Haven't contacted them since, either.

Is it too soon to ask them again if it's done? I hate to sound impatient, but I'm really looking forward to these knives.
 
Exactly, pick up the phone and call him up. It's what I would do. Be friendly and respectful.

I dropped them a message using their website contact form, since I figure it's past business hours -- their operating/opening hours aren't stated. I'll probably give them a call on Monday if I don't hear back before then.
