Is rotokid still in business? Any recent purchases?

Made an order on Dec 13 and never got any confirmation that he was processing it.

Sent an email yesterday, have not received any response yet.

Have any of you purchased from him recently? This is my first order, is this normal?

I have ordered from him in the past & no problem getting confirmation. I think this is normal because on several other forums they say what you have. He really should stay in touch more.
 
Because this thread is about rotokid and not knives or multitools, I'm moving it to the Feedback forum.
 
I was buying quite a few mod parts from him in the past, but hes been really slow lately with communication. I think it was a couple of months ago that I ordered some parts again and they only recently got shipped. I asked around and I think he was dealing with some health problems so I didnt bug him. All the deals Ive had with him have been overall positive, but pretty slow lately, so Im not too sure if hes still selling actively or not.

Ya, I should have clarified I had a list of parts I was looking for that he was picking out of boxes of parts as they came in. I think it was about 2 weeks after I paid though that he shippped them. I just got the parts today actually so that deal went fine, but alot slower than before.
 
Last & final update... after opening a dispute with Paypal, rotokid responded to the dispute in 13 minutes leaving me the following message:

"I am sincerely sorry about the lack of response. The short version is that I hired another assistant for the holiday rush and to be frank did not monitor his performance closely enough and I am finding many things not handled correctly. I will of course refund your payment in full. i am sorry that you had to file this claim But I am glad to find out about the problem so it can be dealt with, the personel issue already has been. Again i am sorry about the mishandling of the order on our part."

Responded to paypal dispute in 13 minutes.
Could not respond to any of the 3 emails over the past 3 weeks.

Avoid this seller.
