I checked out some sebenzas that my local dealer has,and am impressed with design, fit and finish of these knives. They are simple and beautiful, and seem made to be used.I like shape of the blade and its grind. The only downside is the price:).All opinions are welcome.Maybe in future someday Ill save littlebit of cash and get one.Is there any knives that are similar in design and quality at lesser price? One thing I have to say is that this design is so simple and beautiful!

Get one. If you don't think it's worth it, you can unload it in minutes on the exchange. They are phenomenal pocket knives.

Great knife meant to be used hard. Buy one on the exchange to save money.

Many carry them daily. I am a mix-carry my small Micarta most days and my SnG most evenings. They hold up well to hard knife use, but are not pry tools. IMO they are worth the money and I haven't found anything cheaper that compares. You can get some very good deals on the exchange for knives that have no more wear than some rub marks. Easy to maintain ,warranty is good and spa service can refurbish it if you want.

CRK makes great knives. The difference between a $150-$200 knife and $300-$600 is pretty subtle, but if you are in to knives, you will notice it. The biggest downside of a really expensive knife is that it really hurts if you lose it. That has happened to me onc or twice, and it is a factor in me carrying less expensive factory knives.

I carry a small everyday, not hard use, but more typical EDC stuff. I would suggest picking up a used one off the exchange and if you don't think it is worth the money, you will be able to unload it for what you paid.

I'll play devils advocate. No way is it worth that price. I can get a PM2, GB2 and BM710 for the same price. How about a Techno paired with a Slysz Bowie? How many pictures do you see of people actually using their Sebenzas hard or hardly at all? Shiney safe queens. I've held and looked at at Sebenzas and I just don't get it. Where's these hard use pics? And sure you can turn it if you don't like it and be willing to loose $100

Elegance, simplicity, totally functional design, choice of materials and workmanship combine in the Sebenza. Other knives come close, but none surpass Chris Reeves' design IMHO.

I am just about to pull the trigger on a Sebenza and then see your suggestion on a Techno + Slysz Bowie combo. Could anyone with all the three knives chime in? I have none of them.

Look all over the web as many people hard use their Chris Reeves. And for the $299 that you buy buy a Slysz for new you could spend an extra $50 and get an AMERICAN made vastly superior knife in a Small Sebenza 21 (and I have owned both and still own the 21)
