Is Spyderco Endura 4 as good..

There was a G10-handled Endura that was indeed heavier (and very, very nice as well).
But the blade lengths should be the same, I would expect.

is what I have been talking about. Is the plain blade as handy for most of you. I can get the Russell in the Plain blade, just no Combo. I don't think the combo is needed. I will order the Endura Green FRN-Plain Edge and be happy unless most feel the combo is a better one to use.

The heavier more expensive version miht be the full flat ground green G10 handled one, which is also a great knife, but there are also FFG FRN handled enduras with a choice of handle colors that are lighter and less expensive.

As to the blade edge, my advice would be to go with a full plain edge.

I had both the Endura 4 (brown FRN with VG-10 FFG blade) and the Stretch (black FRN VG-10 blade). For what it's worth, I put them both up for sale, and the stretch sold almost immediately, with no bites on the Endura.

Again, YMMV but the Stretch seemed less flexy than the Endura, despite similar construction (steel liners and FRN scales). It's a pretty solid little knife. I still miss it to this day.

Is this statement worth anything? You didn't even mention how much put each for sale? For the same price, I would probably get the Stretch as it posted higher MSRP on the Spyderco site.

I have a FRN waved Endura 4 with SpyderEdge and a FFG Endura 4 with Foliage green G10 scales. Great knives, but you guys have made me want a Stretch. :)

I listed both knives in proportion to their relative MSRP, i.e. the Stretch still cost more than the Endura when I sold it.

The point I was trying to make was that the Stretch seems to be an overall more desirable knife.
