Is the Avalanche made in S30V steel?

Occasionally, I see an ad for the Avalanche offered in S30V steel. I am having a hard time verifying this. I only see a reference to S60V steel on the Kershaw website. Are the references to S30V steel in the occasional ad incorrect? Are the really S60V?
 
S60V was discontinued some time ago for the Avalanche. The newer ones are S30V. If you are looking for S60V ask the seller to give you a pic of the info side of the blade and it should be clearly marked. The S60V knives would say either S60V or 440V, they are the same thing.

Just a note, the Boas are the same way.:thumbup:
