Is the BK10 the perfect compromise?

All these posts and no pics?...

I'd take a 10 over a 2 for pretty much anything except sharpened prybar tasks. 10 is pretty high up on my list of favorites. It's probably my favorite in that size range.
 
Who says the BK2 isn't slicey.



I really like my Bk10.
Maybe even more than the BK2.
 
Is it just because I don't yet own one that I don't see anything wrong with the BK2 weighing about as much as the BK9? Or is it because I've been carrying around the BK9 on my belt almost every single day for a month and don't even notice the weight anymore?
 
The 10 is NO compromise! It's the best one of the 3 you mentioned in my opinion. You are going to love it!
And I have to agree with Derek, The BK-12 would be a great choice as well. It's hard to pic a favorite between the 10 and 12.
 
I have a ""few"" of the BK Knives and I really don't know why as I never use them as I carry and really only have the need for my Delica ZDP189 in most cases.* When I camp out I always have a Machete with me and a Collins H. with me.
Besides ~~ when I go to the great beyond I want to leave my Sons a few new things to play ~~ but only a few.* lol
They will be in shock over what I leave them but I am sure they will destroy much of what I have worked on in many years to only be "POOFED" in a short time.! {Maybe I should request all of my Knives >including my BK's< be buried with me} ~~ will have to give this some thought.! (( you BeckerHeads would probably dig me up though -- you 'Grave Robbers'..! )) lol

We wouldn't have to dig you up if you'd just leave them to us in your will. I'll be sure to leave a thank you note and push you back in the hole before absconding with the loot.

Am I allowed to say LOL? I already got it in hand, quickest shipping ever. . It rhymes with slade chop via Zamazon, HA.

Love this knife by the way.thing just feels like QUALITY. I'll snap some pics on the flip side.
 
Do you guys think I'd be ok to store it in its nylon sheath, as long as I keep it oiled?

Why not. But why do you want to store it, haha. Use the dang thing. Keep by your bed or sleep with it under your pillow like most of the other nutjobs around here. My 14 rides the nightstand at night and travels room to room with me while in home. When I leave it goes with me.

Gratz on the 16, you'll love it.
 
I store all my knives in their sheaths but I don't get to use them as much as I would like and it's pretty arid here.

It's actually a BK10, ..I have a 2.5 year old daughter who is in to everything, lol. I knew leather sheath storage was a no Jo, knew kyd
ex was generally ok, wasnt sure about polyester/nylon..
