Is the Brute gonna get resurrected too?

As the proud owner of a BK2 and a fan of a lot of Mr. Beckers other designs (I really want a machax and a brute and will be purchasing a machax soon as well as a BK9 with some micarta) I'm just wondering if there are any rumors about a brute remake as well?

From what has been said, up until recently, it was emphatically denied that the Brute would ever make a return. Until recently...

Here the last couple of months, various of those "in the know" have hinted and alluded that the situation may have changed. Hinted is a very strong word in this case, as no one has said anything definitive, and I imagine it is something like the Kabar higher ups are evaluating the idea against some of their new machines they got, and the backlog they will have for the other knives they make. Of course that is pure speculation and theory on my part, which has been known to be wrong before.
 
I never understood the facination over the Brute. :confused: Yes its a becker and I would probably want it but what about it makes everyone so gaga over it??? From the reviews it seems like its not a great chopper...Someone please enlighten me?

people want what they can't have. myth is created. people get all misty eyed... truth told, officially they sold like stinky tuna on a hot day. unofficially maybe tgey sold more than a few than the books said. nobody can prove nothing. Ethan didn't get paid though. grrrr. pay the man!

so, all this stuff being brought back? you can be sure every single piece is accounted for. there's little waste, and apparently good sales. i'd love to see a chart of quartery sales by model, since release. BK2 is probaby #1 though. which rocks.

I like to tease, but I didn't divulge any info. I'm not hemoraging secrets here, just stirring the pot. Sheesh, man's gotta have some fun every now and then.:D

I can have a brute, I just can't afford one right now.
So I guess I can't have a brute. Oh well life will go on.

Ahhh The Bladite has spoken! Makes sense. I'm just excited the BK10 is coming back and at a reasonable price. This whole Machax excites me too. The closest thing to a Becker Kukri...:D
 
The Brute has ALWAYS been my favorite Becker. It does'nt really matter to me how well they did/did'nt sell, how well they do/don't chop, or who else does/does'nt care for them. I don't, however, like the idea that Ethan did'nt receive royalties, but aside from that I like the Brute for purely aesthetic reasons. It's just, IMHO, a cool looking recurve.
