I like it purely for looks, haven't researched it's effective chopping ability or any other statistics. Like TAG I just appreciate the aesthetics of the knife, same goes for the machax and the bk9. I hope to get my grubby hands on a new production version of this someday. Thank you Mr. Becker for designing some beautiful and functional blades
 
Ok I can see that. I guess I was just wondering what all the hype was about. I can understand the BK2 being best bang for your buck knife. (haha see what i did with that?? :P).

If you were stuck out in the wilds with one big knife, would you rather have a Tracker or a Machax? Sometimes a "different" knife can be a fantasy, a joke, and sometimes it can be a very special capability tool. Ethan's knives are capable tools. I wouldn't mind a Brute myself, although being the intellectual sort, I'd prefer the Machax. :D

Anyway, "never" is a long, long time. "Maybe" is better odds, so I am hoping the Brute shows up. "Soon" !!!
