My opinion of Hissatsu is based solely on the one i have sitting on the desk in front of me.

If you do even the slightest amount of research on the subject you will find that quite a few of these have a very well documented design flaw in with the torsion bar.

There is a place on this forum where members can argue and insult each other all they want. This is not that place. This is for asking questions and discussing knives. I would suggest you take a look at the Whine & Cheese subforum in the Community Discussion Forum. That place is a lot more suited for what you are doing here.

I've had a hisstasu for a number of years now and it is still one of my favorites. It does have an issue with the torsion bar making it very difficult open, I'm just use to it. I have handed the knife to others to use and they have struggled. This knife is good looking in my opinion and was acutally the first knife I bought when I got into knives five or six years ago.
