Is the kershaw blur worth it?

Own two, tested both locks as soon as I got them to make sure they didn't have the issue shown on Youtube. Both lock up solid and stay locked, no issues. Love the ergonomic feel and the assist provides lightning fast deployment (but can be disabled if you so choose). My most carried knife.

Nice choice OP. For many reasons already mentioned in replies, the Blur provides terrific variety and value.

Thanks everyone You all convinced me and I just order one and will have it by tomorrow.

Nice, make sure you return to show off pics.

The Blur kicked off my knife addiction also. Always liked knives, but had no idea what I was missing in terms of fit/finish/sharpness, etc. After that it was a crazed multi-year buying frenzy. ;) I still have a few Blur's, but now mostly carry ZT's and Spyder's.

Blurs are amazing knives. Flagship status, as far as I'm concerned.

I've owned several models over the years and not one has failed on me.

To the OP, you made a good choice buying one. Please let us know what you think of her when she comes in.

Love my Blur, though it's a tanto in alphabet soup (old 13c26) blade. If I bought another, it would be the s30v. Damn, do I need to buy another?

Edit: Let me add that the only problem I have with it, is that it rides kinda high. I'd love to grab a low rider clip in black for mine, but even STR doesn't make 'em (in black).

Blur is a must have, I have a few and have used them quite a lot. From the more exotic steel versions to the plain common ones. One of the best budget friendly USA made knives around.
