Is the MT Mini Socum manual or...semi manual!

From what I have read, the manual version of the Mini-Socum has a wave action, is this similar to the Kershaw Ricochet--a slight nudge on the thumb stud launches the blade? If so, how does the MT Auto Mini-Socum work, and what is the real difference. Thinking about buying a manual, but I need this issue clarified!

Nope. The Mini-Socom is NOT like the Ken Onion/Kershaw designs. It is smooth and quick but non-assisted.

Well, the mini socom auto is spring assisted

push a button and whack ......the blade is out. The manual version is wrist or thumbstud assisted. Once the knife is broken in I would bet the bank that you can open a manual socom up just as fast as the auto version
