I bet a Sage will come out with the CBBL eventually, that’s a Spyderco proprietary lock (just like the compression lock).

I tell you what, sal. I despise back locks. But my OG s30v carbon fiber chaparral is so damn good despite the backlock that it's one of my most carried. I love how thin the blade is. It just plain slices better than any other knife I have and the size is perfect. That thing with even a liner lock would be perfection.

Sal spent a lot of time perfecting the back lock on the Native. Its a good lock.

Just to bring this thread back.
Do we have any more info on FRN Sage? Or just when its done its done? I am really looking for this model, hope that it comes in the first half of 2019....
