Is the Roc any closer?

Too good to be true! Pre-ordered from 2 different dealers--wonder which one will ship first?!

Is it just me or does this look different from what we were shown in the catalog? I know it was said that it was delayed 2x to make changes to the knife...but to me I just dont like what it looks like now.
 
I think it looks great if you like a folding spatula...sorry couldn't resist.
 
I think in pictures of March 2014 at the Amsterdam Meet it looked like a flat grind but it was deceiving. It looks like it has always been a hollow grind.

It's definitely a unique and even odd folder but that's part of the attraction too.

:) - It does have an unusual look :rolleyes:. Reminds me of the folding version of nighthaxan's very sweet "Lime Cutters".

I kind of like the ROC but ... That's all I can say bout it until I hold one. :D
 
Don't know why, but it looks as though it is a long lost brother to the Junior. I might grab one second hand to try out.

That's the same thing I thought when I saw it. I think the blade had a little more belly to it and more tapered look from front to back. I remember it being much more attractive to me, guess I'll have to wait and see it.

I pre-ordered from Blade HQ. Despite the fact that they are in stock, and I could click the buy now button, I was told I have to wait for the second shipment before my pre-order will be fulfilled/shipped. Odd. Oh well...................

That would not sit well with me..but patience isn't a virtue of mine if I've already ponied up the money.

That was a mistake by one of our customer service representatives. Someone cancelled a preorder, and the item was put back in stock even though we didn't have it. That's why they wouldn't allow you to make the order. We didn't actually have the knife. I am sorry for the confusion.
