Is the SOG Seal Pup Elite full tang?

Title says it all. If not, how far does the blade (well, the steel) go into the handle? And do they use a sort of welded construction, or is it one piece of steel?

One piece / full tang. It ends about 1/8" - 1/4" short of the end of the handle. You can also see it through the lanyard hole. The Seal pups have a radiused :thumbup: blade/tang intersection that's totally enclosed within the guard area.

It's a very strong knife for it's size.

As much as I dislike SOG, it is their flagship knife, and probably one of their most famous ones, so I am sure it is well made. I have handled a few, but never owned one, but seemed solid to me.
