Is the steel in my Idaho 110 420HC?

Just wondered.

I have a Buck 110 that has a picture of Idaho on the blade. I realize this is the 2005 model and wondered if the blade steel was 420HC?

Well, none of the knowledgeable collectors has answered; maybe we can galvanize them into action... :rolleyes:

In the BCCI material sent to me by Larry Oden is a synopsis by Richard Matheny on 110's...and according to that, all regular production 110's since 1994 have been 420HC...
 
The 2005's that I still have new in the clam pack. Says 420HC right on the back side of the cardboard insrert.
