is the vexillarius hard to find??

Don't forget that the Boney Active duty was ran a bit harder so it will have a slight lead in edge retention.

I don't know what your daily tasks require, but it is good to make an informed decision.
 
Active duty is another good option, but lacks the rounded butt. However, it comes in a lot of different variants, including the BAD that Bill ^^^ mentioned.



However, it's also not much larger than a Game Warden, and is a beefier grind lacking the slicing geometry of the GW. (Except for the Elmax variants, those are great little thin slicers!)

 
The Cultellus is another solid option, a solid performer a work or in the woods, this was my personal favorite until I purchased a Busse Steak Knife another magnificent option.
