Is the ZT0561 limited?

I've read that it's limited and that it's production, curious if it's limited or not? Seems odd since the 551 is limited. Either way, it's a great knife I am just curious.

They assemble their knives by hand... and have incredible standards when it comes to fit and finish on their product. I have heard from several sources that they are at least 4-5 months behind production schedule.

So to answer your question, the 0561 is a production model... but they just cant keep up with demand.
 
Well I've got a 560, and a 561 on the way. I like the thought of the different colored scale but trying to decide which to keep.
 
The 561 is pretty much my dream knife right now. I am patiently waiting for them to be more readily available as the 0300’s are. so i wont have to deal with all the scalpers out there selling the 560’s and 561’s for $320+ ...

If you decide you don’t like the 561 i will definitely take it off your hands for a somewhat reasonable price :)
 
Once the 561 arrives I'll be selling the other at my cost! I have no room for profiteers.

Well I don't know about the small staff, or 4-5 month behind on the floor schedule being accurate, but we're happy with how the ZT line is progressing.
 
Hey Thomas, would you be able to answer a question as far as production. Do you think by summer most pre-orders will be filled? I'm just wondering because I've decided to do this as a birthday present to myself in August and I have not pre-ordered one.

I'd say...yes.
 
Dave emailed for my pre-order 2 days ago and I promptly payed him. I actually had the opportunity to buy one a week ago but didn't because I had my pre-order and knew my number was coming up. Right after I payed Dave I started getting emails that they were in-stock in @ several retailers GP being one of them and i wont mention the others since they are non paying dealers.
