Is there a chance for DODO comeback?

I always visualize the Spyderedge as like a straight edge that's compresses. So you get a short blade with the effective cutting edge of one much longer.
 
I just snagged a Carbon Fiber DoDo last month. I love it but it will most likely stay in the box. I really hope they do another run, secondary prices on the DoDo are getting ridiculous.
 
If you like the blade shape & size, there is the Spot (fixed blade neck knife) and there's at least one version of the Meerkat Hawkbill folder with the same blade type. Both are currently available on eBay for around $150.

Yeah tell me about it. One guy heard that I was looking for a Spyderedged, 2003 era Dodo. He offered me a "used unit" for over $200. Needless to say I still have the $200 and he still has his SE Dodo model.
With the market being the way it is for the Dodo model I truly think it's high time for Spyderco to do a serious Sprint Run of the Dodo and offer both PE & SE.
 
There are 3 DoDos floating around ebay right now. Does anyone know how many Blue and Orange units were made? I've read that there were only 1,000 Carbon Fiber made, anyone know if this is true?
