Is there a folder for the kitchen

I don't use my folders in the kitchen unless I'm opening a package of something while cooking. I have been known to whip out a large folder at dinner if the restaurant issue steak knife doesn't do the trick.

I've also found that my Endura is nearly perfect for slicing dinner rolls in half for the application of jelly or whatever.

A few years back I used my RTAK to slice a pumpkin pie on a hike. It's not a folder, but I thought I'd share.

I want to add a forth recomendation for a Spyderco Salt knive. I actually bought my Pacific Salt specifically for a folding kitchen knife for when I go camping, backpacking and canoeing. I also keep it in my car all the time, and have grabbed it several times when I have helped to cook at peoples houses, instead of using their usually lame and dull kitchen knives. The Pacific Salts 4" blade is long enough for most tasks, and it washes up extremely easy. I bought it with the sole intention of a kitchen folder, and it hasn't let me down at all, I love this knife.

for sliccing onions, opinel or doukdouk work really fine.

For cleaning red beef meat, i have tested my sharpest knives (Doukdouk, Caly Jr ZPD189 and Mcusta) and was really impressed by Mcusta.

I've used all my knives in the kitchen at some time or another, for instance when travelling. The one that works best is the Spyderco Centofante III with its thin blade. The Calypso Jr. is also pretty nice, but a bit short.
