After lookin at the locks on the knives you all have posted … it wasn’t that kind … it had a small metal piece you’d slide that blocks blade from closing similar to a SebenzaHow about describing it to us and we can help and find pix to narrow it down?
Start with answering these questions:
- Was it a folder or a fixed blade?
- Approximate size of the knife itself or blade?
- If a folder, was it a slipjoint or a locker?
- If locker, what type of lock did it use? (back lock, liner lock, etc.)
- What was the handle/scale material? (hard plastic, soft rubber, plastic with rubber overmolding, micarta, G10, etc.)
- What type of carry was it designed for? (belt pouch, pocket only, clip-on, etc.)
Short of that, I think Gerber used to release annual catalogs. Maybe start by Googling up a catalog from the approximate year you bought it and the years just before that.
Remember it came in different colors and finishes. After looking at that picture no
It didn’t have the medallion, that lock back, the notch in blade.Remember it came in different colors and finishes.

Pretty sure it was the thin metal liner …OK, was it a liner lock or a frame lock?
A liner lock has a thin metal liner inside the handle that would spring over and lock the blade.
A frame lock uses the same principal, but it is a section of one side of the FRAME that springs over and locks the blade open.
It was most similar to the middle lockSebenza on the left.
Two Gerber liner locks on the right.View attachment 2334267
Hmm not that exact knife either!!! I’ve even searched eBay, Nordic, Arizona, read through the digital Gerber Catalogs someone posted a link to ealrier. Can’t seem to find it anywhereWhat an interesting situation, if you hadn't said gerber, I would have thought of crkt, considering its accessibility. The liner lock you mentioned and the second lock that locks it are the mechanism that crkt later called autolawks. The only Gerber models I know that uses this is the Applegate folder and Michael walker .If you hadn't mentioned the second lock, I would have said that you were probably talking about the Gerber liner lock model, but the clip detail is different. Could you be talking about Gerber Michael Walker?

Can you tell me the parts you are sure about? I assume you're sure it's Gerber? Are you sure about the second lock? The parts that you think you remember accurately help us by reducing the possibility of us speculating.Hmm not that exact knife either!!! Just found this picture on left online.. picture on right with pocket clip was saved in my photos- my knife was similar handle to right but blade didn’t have holes.. anyone know these particular knife models? The one on the right is gerber ez out, but this knife is backlock and as far as I know, there is no different blade option.More precisely, I don't think there is a version that doesn't have a hole on it.Just found this picture on left online.. picture on right with pocket clip was saved in my photos- my knife was similar handle to right but blade didn’t have holes.. anyone know these particular knife models? My knife that I remember had a handle that was very similar to either of those handles. The slimness of them and design. Just need to find the model on the left. The one on the right is gerber ez out, but this knife is backlock and as far as I know, there is no different blade option.More precisely, I don't think there is a version that doesn't have a hole on it.
