Is there a single blade knife similar to the shape of a Case Seahorse?

Very nice, Ed, thank you! It would make a great forum knife. You want to start politikin' for it now? I'll join you.

That is a very nice knife Ed. I saw that Case recently issued a single blade sowbelly for a local Case dealer open house. I was out of town and missed out on that knife but I think I will try to modify one . I really like the shape and simplicity of that knife. Thank you for the photo.

You could look into the Paul Chen Hanwei Sheffield folder. A large Wharncliffe with a similar handle to the Seahorse. However, it's ancient/modern as it has skeleton construction, all stainless liners and button lock. Interesting oddball though.

In the Exchange, Custom shop: Services offered, Don Seals does pretty good work and I think he might have converted the Sow Belly.

Hey Doug, I don't recall who it is but somebody that frequents this forum had their sowbelly converted to a single blade. I've seen pics of it several times and it looks great! You might remember it too.

Perhaps he/she will chime in with some comments. Might be something to consider if you don't find what you're looking for.

Would it be that hard?
TLARbb has answered my question while I was posting it.

Case now offers a CV single blade mini trapper with a wharncliffe blade. I think it's part of their "Rancher" series.
