is there a smaller manix 2 out there ?

Really, I never got all of the negativity that is pointed towards the Taiwan made knives. I happen to have a Spyderco Chokwe - made in Taiwan. It's a great knife and I would gladly put it beside a USA made Spyderco for a fit and finish contest. :D

I agree. The knives made in Taichung, Taiwan are exceptionally well-finished. Seki City, Japan also does Spydies very well. And I love our folks from Golden.

I agree that a smaller Manix 2 would be nice. I had a beautiful one in CPM-M4 and sold it because it was just too large. The blade was too wide from top to bottom. A great knife, but too heavy-duty for me. Sold it quickly.

I love the USA made knives as well but I never hesitate to get one made elsewhere.
