The new Marbles knives are of excellent quality. I have one of their MR278 knives (a copy of the Camillus "US" marked all steel military issue 4 blade scout/utility knife of WW II to at least Viet Nam) which is just as good as the original Camillus I have.
That Marbles G.I. folder has very nice F&F. Curiously, the design of the bottle opener on mine was terribly flawed. There was no way to get the "hook" underneath the skirt of the bottle cap. One might fix it by grinding away some metal, but it is a tricky mod, since the area that needs to be ground also serves as the kick of the blade. Grind too much, and/or in the wrong spot, it'll sit too low in the handle when closed.
The screwdriver tip is also very highly polished and tapers to a very thin blade. Might be good for some applications. But I found it too thin for some prying jobs, bending with relative ease.
Also, don't open two implements on the same backspring halfway at the same time. Kind of good thing to avoid in general. However, it will deform the backspring, resulting in a lazy, weakened spring. This can be a pain in the neck to fix. At least the tempering seems like the spring will be unlikely to snap, the way the original Camillus would.
In the end, as far as I'm concerned, there really is no traditional alternative to a regular SAK. You can spend a whole lot more for traditional features, and you'll still have a "Scout" pattern that's not likely to match the functionality of a simple two spring Victorinox. At most, you'll get to brag about a blade made with steel that has some fancy numbers appended to it.
