Is there anything the size of a Delica with a compression lock?

The Paramilitary 2 would be perfect for me if they trimmed off just half an inch from the pommel. It's just too much handle relative to how much blade you get. The Delica looks like the perfect EDC blade for me but the lockback keeps me from making the purchase. After getting used to the compression lock, I can't go back to anything else. So much fun to open and close.

The upcoming Sage 5 maybe.

Yes...could take a look at the Yojimbo 2 as well. It's a sweet blade, but quite different at the same time.

The Reinhold Rhino is also supposed to be coming "soon".

There are quite a few upcoming knives with a compression lock in a small package.

- Sage 5
- Reinhold Rhino
- Ouroboros (wayyyyyyy too expensive IMO)
- Paramilitary 3 / minuteman

I've already pre-ordered the Sage 5 and will instantly pre-order at least 1 if not 2 PM3/MM

Thanks for the help guys. Any ideas on when the minuteman is getting released? Sounds exactly like what I'm looking for.

Surprised no one mentioned the Vesuvius with a compression lock.
This thread made me dig mine out and fondle it for a while.

Junior? Smallish, but totally different style.

The only knife that I am aware of that has a compression lock and is close to the size of a Delica will be the soon to be released Sage 5. It will be a bit larger, a bit wider than the slim Delica, however. The Dialex Jr is also a lot wider or taller from handle spine to finger grip.
