Is there anything you don't like about a Mora #1 blade?

Well, if your exotic wood is free, then that is awesome. And if you really like the thin Mora blades, then make yourself a real nice knife with some exotic wood!

I still don't think you would be able to make a profit off of selling them though. I just don't think too many people would be willing to pay more than $30-$40 for one, even if it did have a nice handle and sheath, but I could be wrong. And I know personally I put a lot more than $30 worth of labor into making a handle and sheath for these.

As far as "good" stick tang blades for re-handling, you'll just have to play trial and error I guess. A lot of people like the Lauri, but obviously you don't like them, so it's just a personal thing. www.ragweedforge has a decent selection of blank blades.

Also, if you are interested in the re-handling, check out http://knifeforums.com/forums/showf..._session_id/4ee17655f1f08d805f9c591acdcdbef2/

I haven't been there in a while, but there are a lot of guys doing really nice re-handle work there, and I learned a lot from them. Also, it's nice to look at other peoples work to find ideas of different handle shapes.

Yes,I agree you will never get any money for you're labor and I do like the Lauri PT blades a lot.

Thanks for the links,I have though ben there a lot as of late.

Appreciate the help, just wanted to get some opinions on the Mora blades and maby some suggestions on some other good ones.

I appreciate everyone's input
