Well, I ordered one that's supposed to arrive Monday, in Red, White and Blue if I recall. I'll post back here when I get it.

Had mine since they first came out. Still play with it whenever I feel the need for a graphic, but painless, reminder of how totally uncoordinated I am. :o Sure beats bobbling a real bali. It's holding up well, much to the dismay of some of my co-workers. :D Not my choice for hard or extended use as a writing implement, but ok for signing my name and a lot more fun to play with than my Cross Townsend.

Getting a blue/green one some time this week. If I'm going to keep it, I can see myself adding some blue and green GITD to it.

I think there great wee things
There much easier than an actual balisong to get good at and quite addictive.
Iv given them to people who are not into knives at all and a week later their swinging the thing like an expert.

I find it does make me pick up some bad habbits though when i go back the a real bali.

Play with mine, but like Paul I'm usually reminded of why I shouldn't get a Bali:D

Drives the wife nuts as well;)

My wife is trying her hardest to wear hers out. I was hoping that she would get tired of it after a while and let me play, but not yet...

I love playing with mine at the office...Here how it goes, usually:

Coworker (female): What's this thing you always play with?
Me: Just a pen you can flip like that (click-click-click...)
Coworker (male): Kewl - how much are they?
Me: Not too sure (yeah...right) something like $12... :o
Coworker (female): What! 12$ for a plastic pen? Are you crazy!
- If only she knew - :D

As a side note: Do any of you know when we can get ink cartridge replacements?

If there's a real stationary/office supply store near you, that would be the place to look. If not, this would be one source. You want the Fisher Mini Pressurized Ballpen Refill (also known as the Fisher Universal Refill). You will need to snap it to the correct length. you DO NOT want the regular Fisher "Space Pen" refill, it's way too fat and way too long for the BaliYo.

That kydex sheath is pretty cool

I might have to bash one out for my self.

How do you extend/retract the ink cartridge? Does the flipping motion accomplish this or it is just a twist-pen that can also be flipped?

twist pen that can also be flipped... Mine resides in my coin pocket all the time. I flip it a ton, pulled the clip off after I broke one side of it. One of the spydie holes plastic is cracked from being dropped, but I just keep using it anyway, just great for short notes and ADHD offset :)

prolly gonna order a new one from the "pharmacy" and the 5 year old wants one, might get her one for xmas.

We were making some minor adjustments on the unit so we stopped promoting for a while. We began delivering again about 2 weeks ago and they are doing well in sales.

Just got mine in the mail today, and I'm very impressed. I played with it all day long and its a really cool toy. If there was a costlier more upscale version made of metal that was larger and functioned as a full weight trainer I'd like that as well. I plan on keeping mine on me to play with when I'm bored, which also works out for me in that I rarely have a pen with me.

+1 I just got mine. It's smooth and really fun to play with. A constent reminder of why I should never never never buy a butterfly knife. :D

Another vote for one with Ti handles!
