The Windlass / Atlanta Cutlery model is the closest to one of the original 2nd pattern wartime models. The measurements off of it will be the closest.
 
case knives had several knives made during WW2

wartime smatchets were made by
Imperial Knife Co. (>Ulster Knife Company) and W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co.

There were some differences in the handles
of the US OSS and British SOE smatchets.
Some blades were dual edge others single edge.
If there is any reason not to love the smatchet
it is probably because its not likely to be an urban dweller's EDC...

Only reason I haven’t gotten myself the smatchet yet is because I’m not ready for it.

It’s fun to say Smatchet. That’s pretty much it. The design has historical merit and is valid.
