Is this a Fake?

obvious fake. Do you access to PM's, if so, you need to set it up. There are a couple of other things to know on spotting fakes.

Two things that jumped out immediately are the torx screws (CRK uses Allen) and the two grooves in the stop pin (CRKs are smooth, no grooves).
I agree with you on the screws (and the blade shape looks a little off, but my straight from CRK sebenza has groves in the stop pin so I'm not sure that's a good tell.

I'm looking at purchasing a Large Sebenza 21 from an individual, not sure if its a fake but here are the pics they sent.

Thanks in advance!!!

Yep, fake. Steer clear.

I guess I stand corrected. Until now I have yet to see a genuine with grooves in the stop pin. Learn something new every day.

Major fake. There are at least 5 major goof-ups, but I won't list them here. PM me if you want to know what's wrong. Stay well away from that blade and report back to seller that they are selling a fake (in case they don't know).

Stop pin grooves are all-good on certain vintages of CRK.

How do you set up PM's? Thanks

Top of the page, right hand corner, go to Settings, when that opens up, under My settings, look for My account, under that open General Settings up and you'll see an option to turn on Private Message.

I've reported back to the seller, and he apologized. He also took down the listing. He said he didn't know it was a fake too.

So I guess tip-offs for spotting a fake CRK are a big secret. Us poor peasants with lowly $100 folders aren't worthy of such privileged information.
