I'd say it'd make a decent enough large bush blade if you just removed that large double guard. It would actually end up looking something like a barong!

I agree - saw off the guard and you have a nice bowie. I like the aggressive clippoint. Tony, I'd have to say it is probably a stick tang. Now if only they had one of those cartoon x-ray machines in the Headless horseman we'd know for sure!
