Is This A Good Deal?

I'm somewhat sure we discourage posting links to auctions while they're still running. Or is that on swordforums... Do we do that here? Anyhoo, yeah, it's a good knife. Looks like a good deal too, although I didn't check shipping or anything.
 
Is there a diff between that and the BK-7?

The Bk-7 is only $47.50 here...

And I've been told several times that it's a great knife for the money. :)
 
Personally I'd just buy one from New Graham or some other reputable dealer. It is cheaper on New Grahams sight than in that auction anyway.

I have a BK-7 by the way, and it is an awesome camp knife.
 
I knew there was a reason I asked here first. My apologies if I broke any rules about posting the auction. Next time, I will just state the price and the knife.

I appreciate the insite about where else to buy. Thanks and my quest continues for the best all-around tactical knife for prying, cutting and stabbing with a secure sheath.

Beckers and Swamp Rats are well-known bargain brands for their suitability for the kinds of tasks you describe. There are others that make better fighters, but they wouldn't take much abuse (prying).

I am thinking along the lines of those knives as well. But also, possibly a Fallkniven as it has been recommended as well. :confused:
 
Yeah, the Fällkniven A1 would be another option for you to consider. They're much more corrosion resistant than the Swamp Rats and Beckers, if that's your thing.
Their coatings do not last long, but their satin-finish looks really nice, so I'd suggest getting the latter.
