Is this a good trade?

My buddy wants my AKC buffalo horn leverletto knife in exchange for an SPA defense 120 flashlight and pic rail. Think this is a fair trade? cause I love that switch, but that light for its size is the brightest I've ever seen, I just don't have any experience with military flashlights, lol. It said online they're releated to Novatechs or something?

It looks like a good enough light. In my mind it really comes down to how much use you get out of something. If you carry the switchblade then keep it, but if it's only a novelty then ditch it. Financially the trade makes sense. You can always sell it and get yourself a better auto if you end up regretting it!

Well put bro:) I've got a huge knife collection, and most of my switchblades are more for show, and being ol soligen stainless and an Italian stelletto blade means you'll snap the tip in a second haha, so this one has basically always been unused. That's my problem with stellettos in general... But ooh do ppl love em, and are always willing to trade cool stuff for em, just to feel like Emilio from The Outsiders or something. I got the same problem too! Screw it I think I'll probably do it, I love the light. He was saying how they'd kick down doors in Iraq with the lights on strobe, then start blasting people!! Kinda neat the flashlights gone thru all that in my book. This is why it's cool to have a knife collection sometimes, trading is fun

The good thing about being knife people is that people we meet don't generally know as much as we do. They generally think anything sharp is cool, so when you throw in the fact that it's a switchblade I can see how your friend would love it. That light does sound pretty cool. I'm not much of a flashlight guy but the ones I have/am interested in are all ones that get used by the professionals. It does add a really good coolness factor to something when it's something our service members use, and when it's something your friend actually carried that must be even cooler. Not sure what you had in mind for this light but I feel like it would make a great option mounted on a home-defense gun. The strobe can be used to disorient invaders long enough that you hopefully wouldn't have to fire a shot.
