Is this a legit CRK?

FAKE! I learned a tip from a fellow member. Look at the logo... The R in the logo has a curved leg on a genuine. This one is a straight leg...
 
Blade material... and the guy used the word "style" which in E bay terms means, replica, tribute, copy etc!
 
The screws from a real sebbie are probably worth that much, its a fake no way you can get titanium or s35vn for under 100 much less CRK quality for that... unfortunately get what you pay for
 
I know next to nothing about CRK, but if you check the main picture, then the pictures in the description, they're of slightly different knives. Most noticeably by the thumb studs.

At the very least, if it is authentic and just has a low starting bid to incite a bid war, there's no way you can know for sure which knife you'd be getting, short of contacting the seller.

That alone would steer me away from the gamble.

What will CRK be able to do about it? Do they go after these people?

At least they were "honest" enough to list that rather than trying to pass it off as S35v.

Not even close:
-thumbstuds usually have a more pyramid shape
-blue stud with gold lanyard pin? really?
-logo is too small
-machining hole is a little off
-plus everything else mentioned above and probably a few more obvious red flags...
 
The warnings at the bottom of the ad really make it look even better:

-for safety, do not take it by hand when knife drop down
-Do not test sharp by finger
-keep and store knife away from Children easy to reach
 
I would suggest doing some more research on high end knives if your looking to buy one. Almost everyone here would know instantly that CRK has never used 5Cr13Mov blade steel. This a cheaper steel used in lower end knives.

You shouldn't have had to look any harder at it than that to know its not real.
 
by the way, were not really allowed to post links to live auctions on the forum, its frowned upon. If the moderator sees it you may get a slap on the wrist for doing so.
