Is this a legit XM-18?

Agreed ACAK. Now that I know both are a possibility (excuse my prior ignorance) I realize that I wouldn't care either way and have no preference.
 
We discussed thumb studs awhile ago when some thought different generations had different studs. It was concluded that both domed and flat-top are used at the decision of the Ranch's assembler.

I have G4 3.5s w/ both.

One in my pocket right now is one of the early no logo (sterile) G4 slicer flippers and it's rockin' domed...

That's pretty much the same exact knife I have with a domed thubstud, except mine has a blasted frame.

My wharnie ain't domed, but I'm glad to see I ain't the only ocd member here, I too line up my pivot between the "D" & the "E". 4 letters on each side. LOL
 
An all sandblasted wharnie?!?! Pshhh....what a score man! Congrats, lets see some more pics when she lands! :D ...on a side note, I think my only domed studs are actually on a knife I can only use the studs, my non flipper spearpoint, and it flicks like a dream, really dig the domed studs on the non flippers... Just a small observation.

Ugh, I wish I'd actually scored it. There was some miscommunication apparently and the seller let someone else take it. I'm still pretty disappointed.
