Is this a real Emerson ?

it looks real to me, it has unless i am blind std phillips head screws which most EKI's have, what kinda screws does your have?? FWIW the frame lock EKI's (ie HD7 & CQC12) have torx.

the handle looks right to me also, the profile looks a little bit different 'cuz it isnt waved,
 
My other Commanders have screws only in the end of the handle, not across the middle like this one.
Also, there isn't a serial number under the thumbstud and the markings don't look the same in the logo.
 
looks real, like in a small special run. sticker looks real too. maybe you can check with EKI? they would know....

My Commander from 2001 has the screws running down the middle like that....

Looks like the real deal to me...

Yea, it does look like the real thing.
However, I emailed Emerson and they said it looks real too but that they quit using that screw pattern in 2001 and he is saying these are 2007 models.
Also it doesn't have a serial number under the thumbstud.
Interesting.
