Is this a Walrus or Warthog tusk?

Have had this for many years and always wondered.
It is hollow only for 2" or so and is solid the rest of the way.
This is a pretty good representation of the color. Absolutely gorgeous creamy color with a bit of stain here and there.
Experts out there!

I agree, Looks like Hippo! I have both Hippo and Warthog / Boar tusks and it resembles both but the point makes me lean towards Hippo

Looks like a larger version of a tusk I took off a Boar I shot many years ago. It also had the hollow for a bout 2 inches and then was solid.
I am no expert but 10cm seems small for a hippo tusk.

Just got the conversion fixed: 26cm
Outside curve is 33cm
Inside curve is 24.1cm
It is photographed on a 1 inch English unit of measure mat

I don't know much about the dentistry of African mammals, but according to my books, this looks like Hippo.

Is that the size for a Boar Tusk. Not sure never have seen one.
It is an awesome piece

I have a couple of warthog tusks lying around and I´ve hunted them in Namibia and I would pretty much rule that out. Contrary to european wild boar, the warthog tusks are normally not sharp and pointy, but rather blunt and often broken as these animals use their tusks to dig in the ground for food. Also, the cross section of warthog tusk is more square/rectangular where the boar is more triangular. It would have to be an exceptionally large wild boar (and by that I mean almost record breaking) and the shape does not seem quite right. I won't rule it out entirely though, especially if the animal was not a pure european wild boar (sus scrofa). My money is on a young hippo.
