There are customs that Strider made with a polished blade. There's actually one for sale now on neptuneknives...not saying this is real, but it is still up for debate, or is it lol
 
The sheath says "Strider Knives" in that fake looking slant and the FWP and stamp on the tang are too crisp looking. Besides, you don't get a Nightmare grind anything for $125 bucks. I say FAKE.

Report that punk thief to ebay. That guy is selling a ton of fakes across the board. Fage SOG, KABAR, Strider, etc.
 
One easy way to tell a real Strider is that it looks jacked up. Will always have a hand finished look to them. There are also some very good SMF fakes and lots of Buck Striders listed as Tarani when they are 889 SBMF's and asking premium prices. The Tarani was ATS-34 and combo edge. The SBMF was a good $50.00 knife in it's time but not the prices they are asking now.

I contacted the seller and he is a big time dick head. Lucky no money was sent. So I contacted Ebay and reported his ass.lol Thanks for the help guys!

This is always something to look at. The leather on the sheath looks about the quality of the sheath with a Condor (which is fine if you are paying $30 for a knife).

Good thing you caught it before sending money. Buying one for $26 and then selling for $125. I would bet that a lot of the bidding was done by the seller under a fake account.

Be sure to report that the sale was of a counterfeit item. Save the link to the sale, and the link to the original source that he bought it from for $25 imported from China.

Almost a KABAR New Gen w/kydex sheath

Almost a KABAR , actually not near a Kabar. But not nearly as expensive either. New has a tie down for fast draw I guess.

Be good knife, for beach combin, coin digging, or backpacking.

Or if you have a brother in law you don't like, would be a great Christmas gift.

Would NOT send my kid to Iraq with it. Nah its ok just too light.
