Hi guys.

Maybe someone asked this before, but since the search function dissapeard... anyway.

Any of you tried these blanks or heard about them? I want to start knifemaking but here stuff is hard to get and expensive to ship.

I know, I should try to make my own blades, but this could be a start.

I'll second Stacy's comment, looks good to me. Also, from my own perspective, it sounds like he can reliably heat treat some long blades! So thanks for the heads up.

For what it's worth, the steel part is surely the hardest part of making a knife but putting a handle on a kit blade could be very satisfying and give you a sense of whether you want to continue. I'd say Go For It! And let us know how it turns out.
