I have a not so simple question (well the question its self is rather simple, but the logistics involved in doing it wouldn't be).
I have a knife I absolutely love the blade of (shape/size/material) but its a lock back, would it be possible to convert it to a liner lock? In my head it seems like it would work in theory, cut the back off the tang and make a locking right side liner, so is this just to out there or is it something that might actually work?
This isn't something I'm looking to commission tomorrow, or even any time soon, I'm just wondering if its even possible or of I should look into the total custom route to get what I want.
