I ordered some O1 for my first knife; when it arrived I noticed two rectangular divots in the steel. I thought nothing of it and proceeded to stock removal of it. I went through 3 hacksaw blades for using an angle grinder and it worked moderately better and then begin the use a file with what seemed nothing happening to the steel besides scratches where I was filing on the steel with very little steel removed if at all. Am I just having really bad luck grinding it or is it heat treated as I though it would come annealed? Thanks for the help.
