Even the limited edition Gerber Mk.II is not rare. When 1500 of them were made, that does not give this knife much exclusivity.

The Mk I and Mk IIs were really great knives to carry, and ARE good knives if you have one!
I think that collectable edition is very expensive, but you might find slightly used one for way way less if you brouse ebay and the various knife forums. It's a good buy.
