Saw this when searching for a decent cheap elephant toenail. Can't see the stamp well, but what's the thought? Is it an Ellenville Schrade?

That is 100% China made. Type in Schrade custom, and a lot of China made will pop up. Keep looking, one will show up.

Usually the honest ebay dealer will call them "New Schrades"
Although I fell for that ambiguous term and bought what I thought was a "New 'USA' Schrade" hawkbill pruner for 5 bucks
To the seller's credit he did inform me it was a China made one after I had bid
I don't think it's a bad as every one claims
It's definitely not as quality built as the USA ones though for sure
I now put "USA Schrade" in the search field when I feel like buying a Schrade
Same thing with BUCK
I couldn't believe my eyes when I got a BUCK that was made in China
Say it ain't so!!..say it ain't so!!!!............

I don't think Schrade ever made a toenail. I've never seen one, and can't find one in the old catalogs. Seems the best deal on a decent toenail would be a 70's or 80's Case, or a German made one (Bulldog, Fight'n Rooster, etc.)

Also Queen makes them in the Schatt & Morgan line. That would be my pick for a USA made toenail / sunfish. Although the 51OT Big Timer comes close, it only has one blade.

I was thinking brass

there is a whole raft of these different designer like schrades coming out now all under the Taylor name.
