Is this place safe to buy Buck knives from?

Don't know. But their prices suck anyways. Which knife do you think is a deal there? I guarntee you can find whatever one it is your looking at for cheaper elsewhere.

Actually their prices are pretty decent at least on the Buck models I compared. Just compared them to one of the larger online retailers listed here at BF and this place is lower priced with free shipping. I've never dealt with them but I may consider placing an order

I think the real question here should be: Why on Earth would you want to buy Buck knives!?

No it shouldn't be the question. The OP asked a legitimate question, not for your opinion on Buck knives... If you don't have anything helpful to say when a member asks a legitimate question, don't post.
Buck is one of the few family owned knife companies remaining, and have been around a long time. Unlike some companies, they truly do care about their customers too.
They make a product that is well made, and offer it at a price just about everyone can afford.

No, they don't offer many models with the latest Super Steel, and they don't make very many Tacticool knives either. They make knives for people that actually use their knives, not knives made for stabbing car doors, or for knife fighting, for people that think they are "Operators".

Like many companies, Buck mover some of their production overseas. I've owned a few of those knives, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. To Bucks credit, they decided to move the overseas production back to the U.S, and make all of the knives here in the U.S, in Idaho.
I'm sure that wasn't an easy decision, because it no doubt resulted in an increase in production costs, but in my book, it says an awful lot about the Buck family...
How many other knife companies have taken a step as bold as that ?

I lol so hard when I saw this post. Well played

Not really...

To help with the OP's question, you are better off buying from a reputable, known dealer. There is an almost endless supply of fake Buck knives on the market.
Many are on ebay, but I'm sure they have made their way to some dealers.
If you go to the Buck s/f, there is a thread pertaining to fakes. Many are very easy to tell they are fakes if you have a fair amount of knowledge of the Buck products.
Some are actually made close to the authentic Bucks. It's not just Buck knives that are faked. There are even Chris Reeve knives that are very well made, and when one was sent to CRK, the man himself said it was a very good fake.

Ladies and Gents,

I own Fortune and Glory, we are a startup Made in USA gift/department store. Buck knives are just one line of products we sell. I can assure you they are not fake! The supplier I go through for them is Viking Wholesale which is a reputable distributor. As for the prices, we try to maintain the lowest prices out there for many items, especially the higher end Buck knives.

Thanks for your interest!

Well said 338375 and thank you for saying it. I would be comfortable buying from this seller as selling real Buck Knives. If they were selling fakes they would not have such a large line up of Buck products. They also say they get their product from Michael at Viking Wholesale of whom I know and trust as selling original products only.

I hope those that are trolling realize they are not in whine and cheese before it's too late. If you do not like the topic do not post, going out of your way to demonstrate smartassed behavior isn't going to fly here.
