Is this right :S

Is that a rat? I was just getting ready to cut up some chicken to make chicken teriyikia and seen this picture. Please tell me its a squirrel.

Right-click; Save As; and then read the caption...They're a delicacy in some parts of the world...not my part, but some part...:D:barf:

I' ll have to show that one to my kids. We where joking about my chicken teriykia (cant spell it) being rat on a stick.

Oh, man...Now *I'm* getting hungry... :p

Ok,

I could start with the ole sea story 'This is the truth', and everybody would say I was full of it. BUT, let me tell you from "experience" a nice American forest grown Eastern Woodrat when skinned and gutted looks just like and tastes as good as any squirrel.
They are the ones that build the dens in the wood of piles of sticks, in those dens there are sleeping areas, food storage areas and bathroom areas, they are super clean. My 303 would skin'em out just fine.

If we had survived the plane crash on the mountain top, I would kill or trap one in a heart beat. I would grill it on a fire and when you wouldn't eat any I would just smile, lean forward and whisper 'you gonna die, sucker'.
Course I have also eaten alligator gar, burro nose, armadillo and several varities of snakes.....300Bucks

an most quite tasty i belive!
little salt , wood smoke ,
after all in texas caff fries are the bomb!
and here in the east, way back in the hills
